Holger

Hier hab ich noch meine "Do it" Liste fuer DXB Besucher gefunden:
Burj Al Arab The craziest hotel in the world; You can only go there if you have a reservation for tea-time or one of the restaurants (don’t forget your platinum card!); With connection you can get a tour… if you’re lucky …
Of course, THE PALM drive to the Atlantis Hotel; park behind, they have a shuttle; visit the Aquarium, its worth it (even without the whale shark); do a return trip with the lite rail (best view of the Palm itself) !
Burj Dubai, Jumeirah Beach, Bur Dubai, Deira; Dxb city roundtrip if traffic would allow it …
Dune bashing and dessert camp / Hatta road / Al Madam; Ride the dessert dunes and see the sunset from the top of the dunes!; Booking a private tour or book at any hotel … its worth it!
Gold Soukh, Dubai; Gold Soukh, Sharjah; Don’t bring your female companion
Autodrom Dubai You can book a one day training course on Audi A3 up to Formula cars; even a safe driving course (but that might be boring!) Outdoor and indoor CartingMadinat, Jumeirah The different Shopping Mall, old Soukh stile, nice, must be seen
Mall of the Emirates as of now, biggest Shopping Mall in the world; home of Ski Dubai; the other dessert experience within the MoE
Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa- Dubai Downtown; must seen Aquarium and Mall; climb the tallest Bldg. of the World- view deck at the 123th floor; reservation recommended; go early morning or sunset ... otherwise you will see only dust! Best view in winter time;
Museum and old city of Bur Dubai; nice heritage Museum and Area, also good for a ride on the Abra
Dubailand development area Good for a sundown ride, you will see the madness of Dubai
East Coast drive; One day drive along the beautiful east coast of the Emirates. Starting from Hatta, crossing the mountains towards Kalba and than along the coast up to Dibba. You can even cross the Musandam peninsula towards Ras Al Kaimah (Wadi Bieh route / sorry not open anymore; you can go in but you have to go back to Dibba) and coming back to Dubai along the west coast route, passing Um Al Quain, Ajman and Sharjah.
Old Soukh, Sharjah; Heritage area; nice rebuild soukh in Sharjah, old stile under aircon
Sharjah Historical Car Museum; New ... no idea what’s inside but looks niceJumeirah Mosque Dxb The only mosque which allows Non-Muslim visitors; Open only on Sundays and Thursdays (10:00 am; tour)
Bab Al Sham Resort; beautiful landscape, dessert entertainment and good food
Quad driving near Hatta Mostly for Kids but adults can have also fun there
Wild Wadi Nice ‘Waterworld’ beside the Burj … imho better than Atlantis
Dreamland Also nice waterworld but in Um Al Quain, therefore much cheaper by similar quality without view of the Burj …
Al-Ain Old Oasis town on the edge to the mountains with beautiful sunsets on one of the highest mountain view points in the UAE; and the best zick-zack road in the UAE
Dibba – RAK road Beautiful 50 km raw road, passing canyons and mountains of the Oman Musandam peninsula and the Wadi Bieh (DON’T FORGET YOUR PASSPORT) again sitll open but no more exit in RAK
Ibn Batuta Mall, Jebel Ali Another shopping experience
Manzar Beach Park Nice for barbecue and swimming without ‘piping toms’
Muscat Oman 2 day trip along the beautiful coastline of Oman (500 km one way)
Dubai Marina If you are a fan of Gropiusstadt or Hellersdorf… go there / update "Boardwalk" is nice now but expect a lot of traffic!
Dow creek tour For the lazy fellows who want to see the creek at night with a decent meal included
Ras Al Khor 'Automarket"; a must for car fans; you might find the most amazing cars but also the crudest dealer you can imagin ...
Nad Al Sheba Race-course For the friends of horse and camel racing
Abu Dhabi
Ferrari World; make sure the roller coaster is working; good for Kids otherwise expensive, one time see and good .....AD Racetruck; look for schedules; they offer more fun than Dxb Autodrome!!
Emirates Palace; the real hotel
Sheikh Zayed Mosque; is a must if you go to AD; simple fantastic ...
Sheikh Hamdan's privat car Museum ... 40 km outside the city but its really worth it! try to call if they are open ... if not and your curious .. simple go there, be friendly with the guards and see
and of course a lot of more stuff ...
