Klimakompressor wechseln - welches Loctite ?

  • Habe einen "neuen" (gebrauchten) Klimakompressor aufgetan,
    da meiner kaputt ist.
    Will den morgen wechseln.

    Thx for helping.

    Matt,

  • I think that the Loctite you need is the one which can resist to high pressure oils. Basically the freon contained in the circuit is oil texture.
The idea is maybe to have a look on the Loctite site, or try with keywords loctite+caracteristics in any search engine or loctite+freon...

  • Hi Technoir,

seems you haven't read (or misunderstood)
my previous update - it seems there's
no need for any loctite sealing for the
freon fittings, just the bolts are secured
against opening by applying some "standard"
anti-unscrew "glue". Some of this stuff
was on the fitting, so it looked as if
someting was needed, which is not the case.

    Thanks nevertheless,
    Matt

  • Hi Technoir,

doens´t matter. We are happy about all comments that might help.

Your idea to take a look at the loctite site may help other members to find the correct sealing stuff.

    Greetings to French ...

  • Yes Technoir - Guido is absolutely right !

I didn't mean to put you off the discussion - perhaps the words I used sounded a bit to "rough". If that's the case, I apologize.
So, please don't feel "bad" about it -
all comments may be useful. After all,
it was my mistake putting up the discussion at all - If I'd looked more thoroughly before, I'd have had no need to ask ...
