Soon Porsche driver again

After 10 years of Porscheliebhabereien (Boxster 204, 220, 252PS, 911 with 300, 355 and 450 Ps) I'm the last half year with an old SLK rumgefahren.Auto is top, and you can drive well long distance, but to be on the road on Sundays sporty, a Porsche but already more fun.Habe me today for a 98er BOXSTER decided (2Hd., 200TKm, ear seats, hardtop, 2 set wheels). Maybe I have a little more luck with the last, 5 years ago, since everything broke in a short time (A/C cooler, shock absorber leaks, cat started to rattle, clutch line burst, hood 2xdefekt, etc.) and had only run 100TKm.

Anyway, I'm happy at the moment.is from the dealer and must first still Getüvt be, then I can pick him up.

Here times immediately still a QUESTION:

Had the first Boxster no central with remote control had (probably FB with extra charge)? Was not known to me.

I had a R170 200K with 192hp for a long time and changed two years ago to the R171 with 350 sports engine, so quasi Boxster competitor. THE puts the 986(S) and in parts even the 987(S) in the shade.

Nice to hear, also another SLK lover here to have. It is my third R170. First 163, then 136, and now 193 Ps.And through other compressor ratio and software I installed last week about 220 Ps. I'm looking forward to the 2023 season when I jump from one car to the other and enjoy the acceleration, top speed and cornering of the two 20+ year old cars.

So, I picked up the car and drove around with it all day.

The Porsche Felling is just great. Of course it is an old car with 200TKm. Everything is luscious. And it's not worth it to put great money in it.Have the car now only once banished to the farthest corner, and will take care of it later.Must still make a few things on my SLK.But here already times a first comparison:

Boxster 204PS= ...100/200 = 28 sec. top speed 230 Km/h

98 SLK,220PS= ...100/200=22 sec. Topspeed 240Km/h

After I had driven around with the Boxster all day,I wanted to have a quick comparison in the evening.The Mercedes was much more comfortable,and almost like getting into a cab.In city traffic considerably more power due to the compressor.Think times with a good comparison,a 252hp BosterS would have to go to the start. Only there we are again in an unfair price comparison.My SLK ca.6500 Euro,my Boxsterkrücke 11000€, and a good 986S we are already at 20.000€.
